The SKALE Platform offers four options for setting a voucher’s validity period:

Redemption Method  #

What are the available Redemption Methods?

The available redemption methods for your vouchers depend on the Voucher Type you selected in the Download section. Here’s a breakdown of the options:

In-Store Vouchers

  • 6 Digit PIN: If you choose this option, the platform will generate a unique 6-digit PIN for each voucher. You’ll need to distribute these PINs to your physical stores. When users redeem the voucher, cashiers can verify the PIN to validate the redemption.

Remember: To find the 6-digit pins for each outlet, click ‘here’ and check the ‘Redemption Method’ column in the Outlet Promotional Mechanic table.

  • None: If you select “None,” the platform won’t track in-store redemptions. This means you’ll need to manage voucher redemption manually at your physical locations.

E-Commerce/Partner Promo Code Vouchers

  • None: For E-Commerce/Partner Promo Code vouchers, the only available redemption method is through a unique promo code. Users will enter this code during the checkout process on the partner’s website.

Physical Item Vouchers

  • No Redemption Method: Physical Item Vouchers are redeemed in-person and don’t require a specific redemption method within the platform.

What happens if I select ‘6 Digit Pin’ as my Redemption Method?

You will need to select a promotional mechanic for each participating outlet. Here are the available options:

  • QR Code: Each outlet will have a unique QR code that users can scan using a smartphone. This is a convenient and secure method for voucher verification.
  • Barcode: Like QR codes, barcodes can be scanned for voucher validation.
  • Unique Promo Code: Assign a unique promo code to each outlet. Users will need to enter this code during the redemption process.
  • PIN Code: In addition to the voucher’s 6-digit PIN, it requires users to enter a PIN specific to the outlet for added security.
  • Plain Text: While less secure, you can use a simple text code for voucher redemption if other methods are not feasible.

How can I set promotional mechanics for each outlet?
