Challenge Image  #


What is a Challenge Image?

A Challenge Image is a picture that goes with your challenge on the SKALE Platform. It helps people quickly understand what the challenge is about. 

What are the Challenge Image Requirements? 
  • Recommended Size: 1250 x 1250 pixels  
  • Format: JPG or PNG   

How can I upload my Challenge image? 

To upload your Challenge Image, you can follow these simple steps:    

  1. Go to the Gamification section and scroll down to the Challenge that you want to edit. 
  2. Hover to the Image section, click the Browse button and upload your image. 

Campaign Title and Instructions  #


What is a Challenge Title? 

The Campaign Title is a concise and descriptive heading that clearly communicates the nature of the challenge to your campaign users.  

What is a Challenge Instruction? 

The Instructions section allows you to explain how users can participate in the challenge in a short but clear manner. 

Add Shortcut Button and Shortcut Title  #


What does enabling the “Add Shortcut button” do? 

Checking the “Add Shortcut” button creates a quick access point for the challenge within the campaign. This displays a dedicated icon under the main game, making it easier for players to find and participate in the challenge. 

What is a Shortcut Title? 

The Shortcut Title is a brief, yet informative label displayed below the challenge shortcut icon within the game. It provides a quick reminder of the challenge and encourages players to participate. 

How many characters can I use for the Shortcut Title? 

The character limit for the Shortcut Title is 15 characters. 

Reward Awarded  #


What does Reward Awarded mean? 

The Reward Awarded refers to the system that automatically grants incentives to users for successfully completing a challenge. 

Can I check all the check boxes in the Reward Awarded section? 

Yes, you can check all the boxes in this section and award a chance, point, and voucher to your users all at once. 

Chance(s)  #

What are Chance(s)? 

Chances refer to the game tries that you can give to users upon completing a challenge.

How many chance(s) can I give? 

The number of chance(s) that you will give is completely up to you.  

Point(s)  #

What are Point(s)? 

Points are a type of in-game currency users can accumulate within your game and use to redeem rewards in the Rewards Marketplace.  

How many point(s) can I give? 

The number of point(s) that you will give is completely up to you. 

Voucher Series  #

What is a Voucher Series? 

A Voucher Series is a reward system designed to incentivize regular user engagement on the SKALE Platform. It involves automatically awarding a voucher to users upon completing a challenge. 

How many vouchers can I give? 

The number of vouchers you can distribute depends on the number of active vouchers available in the Rewards & Vouchers section. 

Important Note: You must have at least one active voucher series before you can award vouchers to players. 

Lifetime Limit #


What is a Lifetime Limit? 

A Lifetime Limit is the set number of challenge attempts that users receive during their first successful log–in and will be used throughout the entire campaign period. This feature allows you to control how many times users can participate in a particular challenge. 

Is there a maximum Lifetime Limit? 

No, there is typically no maximum Lifetime Limit. You have the flexibility to define a custom Lifetime Limit for each challenge you create. However, we suggest that you should set it to 1 as users can only complete this challenge once.

What happens if I don’t set a Lifetime Limit? 

If you don’t set a Lifetime Limit for a challenge, the platform typically implements an automatic default limit of 1 attempt per user. This allows players to participate in the challenge only once. 

Daily Limit #


What is a Daily Limit? 

A Daily Limit is the number of challenge attempts given to users each day. It is automatically given to them during their first successful log-in of the day only.     

Is there a maximum Daily Limit? 

No, there is typically no maximum Daily Limit. You have the flexibility to define a custom Daily Limit for each challenge you create.

What are Social Media URLs? 

Social Media URLs are unique web addresses that point directly to your official profiles on various social media platforms. These URLs allow users to find and follow your brand or content on those platforms. 

What happens when I add my Social Media Page URL? 

When you add your Social Media Page URLs for a social media follow challenge, it allows the platform to display relevant icons that lead to your official pages. Here is how it works:

  1. Start by selecting the specific social media platforms you want users to follow (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) 
  2. Locate the designated field where you can enter the corresponding URL for your official social media page. 
  3. When a user sees your social media Follow Challenge within the campaign:  
    • They will see clear icons representing the social media platforms you have linked to (e.g., Facebook “f” logo, Instagram camera icon, TikTok music note icon). 
    • Clicking on any of these platform icons will automatically redirect the user directly to your corresponding official social media page using the URL you provided. This creates a streamlined experience for users to follow your pages. 

How can I find and add my Social Media URLs? 

To find and add your Social Media URLs, you can follow these simple steps:  

  1. Go to the Gamification section and scroll down to the Social Media Follow challenge section.       
  2. Locate the section shown below. 

3. Link your Social Media pages. 

  • Open the social platform (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn)  
  • Locate the address bar at the top of your web browser. 
    • This will display the URL of your social media page. 
  • Click and copy the entire URL 
  • Return to the Social Media Follow challenge section.  
  • Find the designated space for your social media link. 
  • Paste the copied URL there. 
  • Repeat this process for each social media platform you want to link. 

App URLs #


What are App URLs? 

An App URL is a unique web address that links directly to your mobile app on the respective app store (Apple App Store for iOS, Google Play Store for Android, Huawei AppGallery for Huawei). It allows users to easily download and install your app.

How can I find and add my App URL? 

The steps to find and add your app URL vary depending on the platform (iOS, Android, or Huawei). Here’s how you can do it for each:

Apple App Store 

Find app link via App Store Connect:

  1. Log in to App Store Connect, then click My Apps and select your app. 
  2. Under App Information > Additional Information, click View on App Store.
  3. Copy the app’s URL. 
  4. Paste the copied URL on the IOS Store designated space.

Find app link via App Store on iOS devices 

  1. Go to the Apple App Store on your iOS device. 
  2. Search for your app and go to the app page. 
  3. Tap the Share Sheet button on the top right of the screen. 
  4. Choose Copy Link.  
  5. Paste the copied URL on the IOS Store designated space. 
Google Play Store

Find the app link via Google Play Store on your computer

  1. Go to the Google Play Store on your computer. 
  2. Search for your app and go to the app page. 
  3. Copy the URL. 
  4. Paste the copied URL on the Play Store designated space. 

Find app link via Google Play Store on your device 

  1. Go to the Google Play Store on your Android device. 
  2. Search for your app and go to the app page. 
  3. Tap the three-dot button on the top right of the screen. 
  4. Choose Share, then Copy link.
  5. Paste the copied URL on the Play Store designated space.
Huawei Store

Find app link via Huawei AppGallery on your Computer

  • Go to the Huawei AppGallery website on your computer by visiting appgallery.huawei.com.
  • Use the search bar to find your app and open its app page.
  • Once on the app page, copy the URL from the address bar.
  • Paste the copied URL in the designated space for your app link.

Find app link via Huawei AppGallery on your device 

  • Go to the Huawei AppGallery on your Huawei device.
  • Search for your app and go to the app page.
  • Tap the three-dot button in the top right corner of the screen.
  • Choose Share, then Copy link.
  • Paste the copied URL in the designated space for your app link.

Auto Approve #


What is Auto-Approve? 

Auto-Approve is an optional setting that, when enabled, automatically approves user challenge submissions and grants rewards without manual review.

When should I enable Auto Approve?

You can consider enabling Auto-Approve when:

  • Encouraging Frequent Participation: Auto-Approve can incentivize users to engage more frequently by providing instant gratification.
  • Tasks are Simple and Clear: If the required task for a reward is straightforward and has no room for ambiguity, Auto-Approve can efficiently automate the reward process.
  • High-Volume Campaigns: When you anticipate a large number of submissions, Auto-Approve can help manage the workload and ensure timely rewards.

Reward on Submission #


What is Reward on Submission?

Reward on Submission is a feature that allows you to automatically grant rewards to users upon successful completion of a challenge. This streamlines the reward process and can significantly enhance user engagement.

Input Question #


What is an Input Question? 

An Input Question is an optional element that you can include within certain challenge types. It allows you to prompt users with a question related to the challenge before they submit their entry. 

What happens when I enable the Activate Question? 

When enabled, a question appears before users submit their image or complete the challenge action. Users can choose to answer the question or leave it blank without affecting their ability to complete the challenge. 

What happens when I enable the Set Question as Mandatory? 

Enabling this option makes the question mandatory. Users must answer the question before they can submit their image or complete the challenge action. 

Example Images  #


What are Example Images? 

Example Images serve as a visual guide for your campaign users. These images demonstrate exactly how players should screenshot their social media pages as proof of following your official accounts.

How can I upload my Example Images? 

To upload your Example Images, you can follow these simple steps:   

  • Go to the Gamification section and scroll down to your chosen challenge’s Example Image section.  
  • Add the Example Name for each image. 
    • For each image you upload, consider including a brief descriptive name in the provided field. This helps players understand the context of the image (e.g., “Instagram Follow Confirmation,” “Valid App Download Receipt”).
  • Click the Browse button and upload your chosen example image. 

Note: If your challenge requires multiple screenshots or steps, you can repeat steps 3 and 4 to upload additional Example Images. 

Can I add more Example Images to my Campaign Challenges? 

Currently, the SKALE Platform allows you to add a maximum of three example images to each challenge you create. These images serve as visual aids to help users understand the challenge requirements and the desired outcome.
